Individual Note:
     According to family legend, "Foundling" (in Italian "proietto") was abandoned on a convent doorstep in Italy. He was named LaDolcetta, which in Italian means "little sweet one". Supposedly, anyone named LaDolcetta is related, as the surname is not an actual surname. After looking at marriage, birth, and death records from the village of Villa San Giovanni, Reggio Calabria, Italy, I have come to the conclusion that "Foundling" was actually this Matteo. He is the LaDolcetta referenced earliest in the records (records dating back to late 1800s for people born in late 1700s).
