Wilhem Bruno Panitzki wrote on the back side of his apprenticeship certificate from January the 15th 1934:
Am 15. Januar wurde ich als Sohn des Angestellten Wilhelm Panitzki in Kiel - Gaarden geboren. 1919 zogen meine Eltern nach Neumünster, wo ich die Mittelschule besuchte. 1921 zogen wir nach Kiel. Dort besuchte ich die Volksschule. 1925 zogen meine Eltern nach Kiel - Gaarden, wo ich 1928 meine Schulzeit beendete. Ende 1929 zogen wir nach Ploen, wo ich ein Jahr nach der Schulentlassung bei dem Tischlermeister Selk in die Lehre kam. In Ploen besuchte ich während der ganzen Lehrzeit die Gewerbliche Berufsschule. Ich bin jetzt seit 3 Jahren Schüler der 1. Klasse

I was born as the son of the employee Wilhelm Panitzki on the 15th of January in Kiel \endash Gaarden. In 1919 my parents moved to Neumuenster, where I attended the "Mittelschule". In 1921 we moved to Kiel. There I attended the "Volksschule". 1925 my parents moved to Kiel \endash Gaarden, where I finished my schooldays in 1928. End of 1929 we moved to Ploen, where I started one year after school my apprenticeship with the master cabinetmaker Mr. Selk. I attended during the entire apprenticeship time the industrial training school in Ploen. Right now I'm a student of the 1st class since 3 years.
